Melissa McGuire Cason knows and loves Central Texas! This former news junkie is passionate about her clients and their success. Her exclusive knowledge of Austin and its surrounding communities can only help her clients grow their business, and she is thrilled to be a part of that. She graduated Cum Laude from Texas State University with a major in Mass Communications. She worked as the evening news anchor at KCEN-TV in Waco for 6 years before moving to Austin. In Austin, Melissa got access to unique people and places while working as a news reporter for KVUE-TV, Austin's ABC affiliate. The Texas Associated Press named Melissa "Best Reporter" in 2006. Over the years, Melissa has worked closely with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. She served as the Emcee and Public Relations Chair for the Central Texas Race for the Cure for several years. Melissa also worked as the Director of Outreach and Development for a grassroots non-profit in Austin called Crime Victims First. After taking time off to start a family, Melissa received her license in real estate and had a calling in the title industry. It is truly a perfect fit. |
