Dale Johnson started working at Stewart Title in May of 1985. Originally, he was only on a short assignment, taking leave from his PhD program in Classics at the University of Texas. Instead, he fell in love with the world of title and decided to make this his career. In 1995, he was named Vice President and has served as the Title Plant manager since 1989. He oversaw the combining of the Gracy Title and Stewart Title plants in 2006, and swapped out his Stewart cap for one that said Gracy after the merger in 2008. Dale's undergraduate degree was from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. His interests include reading, Texas history, and the history of Austin and the surrounding area. |
