We implemented the Employee Certification Program to recognize escrow associates who have passed both written and verbal tests demonstrating they have mastered each new level of education. For the highest level of customer care, Gracy ensures that our closing teams are well-trained, professional, knowledgeable, prepared to field any customer questions, and ready to resolve complicated escrow issues.
The Certification program has over 60 different modules divided into four levels. After each module, the escrow associate takes an essay test and after each level, they take an oral test. Completing all 4 levels requires more than 90 hours of study. The training topics vary in order to encompass all facets of the title insurance and closing process. Some of the training modules are practical application modules to address the technical side of closing the transaction. Other training modules address substantive issues that could present an obstacle to closing if someone were dealing with an escrow associate who was unfamiliar with the proper way to cure the matter at hand.
As a Gracy Title closer passes each new level, they are recognized within the company for the achievement and may add their new certification to their business cards, email signatures and web site biographies. When you see that your closer has achieved one of the 4 levels of their Escrow Certification, you know they have achieved one of the most difficult professional designations in the title industry.
