2011 Purple Santa Toy Drive

Toy Drive

Gracy Title would like to thank all of those in the community that extended a helping hand to make this year's Purple Santa Toy Drive a huge success! Total donations amounted to over $20,000 in the form of cash and toys that were given to the families of our Wounded Warriors stationed at Fort Hood on Saturday, December 10th. Thanks to our generous community's combined efforts, 193 kids got to experience the spirit of the holidays on a very special day they won't soon forget.

We would like to recognize all of the other organizations for their efforts: Military Order of the Purple Heart, Wheelers for the Wounded and Minis & Friends. Also, a special recognition to our magnificent employees who really stepped forward to make a difference this year:

Donna Simmons, Vicky Wilhelm, Suzanne Jacobs, Denise Moody, Debbie and Jerry Holloway, Phyllis and Mike Blackwell, Maria Hataway, Ralaine McCracken & Andrea Jacobs

Donations Collected in July

Military Moms of Texas
July 2011 Drive

Our troops need to know that we support and appreciate the sacrifices they make for us, our families, and our future. This is why throughout the month of July, Gracy Title employees & customers showed their appreciation by participating in a care package donation in conjunction with Military Moms of Texas.

Aside from all the donations collected, many customers and employees contacted Military Moms of Texas directly to sponsor soldiers and to directly make their personal contributions.

A big thank you to all who participated! A special thank you to Allison Craig for bringing Military Moms of Texas to Gracy; and to Andrea Jacobs for promoting and coordinating with Pamela Buske of Military Moms on making this drive a success!

"WOW Customer Service Moment"

An agent wrote of Annie Barkowsky and Kristi Dobrinski,

Both Annie and Kristi worked very, very hard on this to close my transaction, but Kristi took on extra responsibilities to take care of things for me, the sellers and the buyers!  As I indicted to you, this was an estate home with no will, which of course was a challenge in itself.  During the long process, one of the "clients" unexpectedly passed, another "client" turned 18 and we had to add her to the contract, the lender for the buyer was difficult, to say the least and my sellers had an attorney involved to split up the proceeds, among other legal needs.  At all times Kristi communicated with both the buyer's agent as well as me and always seemed to find a solution for the next issue that surfaced!  there was not a time that I spoke with Kristi that she didn't have things well in hand.

In addition to Kristi, Annie always made herself available to me when I had questions, and you know me, I ALWAYS have questions.

Usually Agents write to complain about the handling of these situations and I wanted to make sure that the proper people in Gracy know what great people they have.
